This afternoon I stopped a Child marriage.
Mr. & Mrs. Wachayi were marrying off their 13yr old daughter to a 56yr old man – Mr. Ddaka in Mafubira Jinja today.
My informer called me and i jumped into action. I rushed to the scene with police.
Mr. Dhaka has 8 wives and countless mistresses already.
Technically he was buying the little girl as he paid the family in cash and brought several gifts.
Mr. Dhaka and Grace’s father and mother have been arrested and the little girl (Grace) is safe in our hands.
