Joan survived by the grace of God

This is Joan, she recently went through a very unforgiving ordeal by the grace of God she survived. She was abducted, kidnapped, sold off to traffickers, gruesomely raped and beaten. Because of her health condition she can’t live in the Village at the Orphanage, so the operators of the Orphanage have asked me to take her in under my care for atleast 6months. She will be released from the hospital in 4days times. Though I accept her with love and open hands, I can’t afford it and we don’t have a fund to keep us going. Six years ago I petitioned at the Constitutional, later I was advised to file a petition at the Ugandan Parliament, calling on the Ugandan Government to criminalize Marital Rape. Without any legal aid or legal background I was my own lawyer for all the 5years and 11months. I urged my case out. I have been going to court every after 2months.

Getting every child to school

Most of the children we have at the center have special needs and so they go to special needs schools. We have 38 school going age children in primary and high school.
